Imperial beach says lost dogs can also be taken to the Imperial Beach Fire Rescue Station to be scanned for a microchip and reunited with their owners; dogs are accepted here daily from 7:30 A.M. - 7:00 P.M.

Helpful Tip: Contact shelters within 20 miles; post on Nextdoor, PawBoost, and local Facebook groups, and neighborhood social media. Include a clear photo, where the dog was last seen, nearby cross streets, date/time, markings, and whether the dog is microchipped. And your contact information.
Low Cost Veterinary Care- San Diego Humane Society offers low-cost vaccines, spay/neuter services, preventive care, and other assistance for pet families who need help.
San Diego County Animal Services -Vaccines & Microchips- For eligible residents of San Diego County, fees are currently $20. per vaccination and $25. per microchip. Dogs can receive rabies, DAPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
Animal Welfare Foundation of San Diego -Provides low-cost spay/neuter referrals and may offer financial assistance for surgery.
